| An Indian jambiya of traditional form, probably late 19th century. Silver overlay to iron handle, silver koftgari decor to blade featuring a pair of peacocks perched upon a foliate pattern. Obverse of blade quite bright, reverse darkened with superficial oxidation. Silver tarnished dark. Much wear to decor on handle, also darkly patinated. Without sheath.samurai sword set with stand |
